Barker’s BBQ: Great Guides for Smoked Pork & Beef Ribs

Barkers BBQ

Here at the RAS we are always on the lookout for great cooking tips for cooking our own ribs at home, with so many guides and how-to videos online, it’s hard to find a straight forward guide to follow along at home that is relevant to the Aussie home barbecue scene. I came across Barker’s BBQ on YouTube after I bought myself a Fornetto Razzo bullet smoker to step up my home barbecue game and what amazing few weeks it has been getting a few cook ups under my belt.

Liam at Barker’s BBQ breaks down the steps to smoking ribs in easy to follow videos, which I have now used to successfully cook up pork ribs a number of times and some amazing pulled pork as well. His tips are more around what to look and feel for with your pork rack to give you a better understanding of the journey the meat takes inside your smoker.

He discusses temperatures in ranges rather than precise numbers to maintain, which helped take away the all so common stresses that go with Low n Slow cooking at home. Liam was a great help with setting up my Razzo and gave me so many tips with all my cook ups, you can really tell he has a great passion for barbecue.

I highly recommend you check out his channel on YouTube and more importantly watch the two videos below explaining how to cook up Pork Baby Back Ribs and Beef Short Ribs:

You can find Barker’s BBQ on Facebook and YouTube!

Till next time, stay safe and happy barbecuing.
