The Rib Appreciation Society started as a bunch of great mates on the hunt for the Best Ribs in Geelong, Melbourne, around the Surf Coast and beyond. Our reviews were and still from a blokes point of view and we believe that an honest review is a good review. There won’t be any fancy words or long-winded explanations about the decor of the restaurant and how it made us feel, just a rib review!
We focus on:
- Serving Size – Did we walk out or did we roll out?
- Tenderness of the meat – If it’s not easy to eat, it’s no good!
- Amount of sauce on the ribs – enough said!
- Value for Money – at the end of the day we’re talking about ribs and we’re all on a budget!
Over the last few years, The Rib Appreciation Society slowly started their own journey into the wonderful world of Low N Slow cooking at home and producing simple cooking guides that anyone can try at home, let’s face it, we are all time poor and any hints and tips to nail a rack of ribs at home is welcome.
